    It would be much better if KMS can become a service in Win8.....:eek:

    Finished activating 8 PC's running Win8 Pro! Phew! Finally managed to Activate them!:biggrin:

    Works great on my EnterpriseN. Maybe I should've installed the Pro version :)

    Tried both ips and get same error message as person above anyone else have any luck?

    Not having any luck either, but the second IP gives a different error message than the first...

    Hey guyz, I just joined this forum to say a big thanks for windows 8 link and activation! However, I would like to know if there would be an option in future to download windows media center on windows 8 enterprise N versions, perhaps it will never be compatible with it?

    I tested re-installing Windows and restoring the activation files went smoothly. I have written a guide and posted, hope it will get approved. Turned out you only need the store folder from C:\Windows\System32\spp

    Do you have to take ownership, reboot or do any commands after copying the folder to new install?

    As I tried copying mine from a activated install to a un-activated image restore, nothing happened.

    I scanned the entire 91.149.0.0/16 network, and found a lot of machines with port 1688 open. But I'm not in a position to test any of the open ports. :(

    Please understand that I have no knowledge of what is running on these IP's only that the common KMS server port is open.

    I tried uploading the result of nmap, but the damned file is to large. (Even when compressed. I could not get 8Mb to 92k, my regex skills are not that advanced yet :p)
