Changing the DNS servers to 2001:4860:4860::8888 , 2001:4860:4860::8844 in ipv6 and 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 in ipv4, then disabling and reenabling the NIC did the trick. Big ups.
I tried this (just straight typing in the server and activating) and it gave me an error about not being able to find the server. However I rebooted, and it was activated when I logged in so god knows whats going on there.
if you have upnp enabled in the router, the teredo tunnel is working automatically in windows and you dont need trick with ipv6
This worked for me! Successfully activated Win8 Enterprise ... but no luck with Pro on another Machine Any ideas?
Yes in fact you can uninstall WMC through "Turn windows features on and off" but you still won't be able to revert back to a non-WMC Pro key. At least as far as I know. I'm in the same situation that you are. Seems WMC is the only activation that won't work atm. If anyone knows of a way to revert Win 8 Pro WMC edition back to Win 8 Pro without a full Windows reinstall from scratch, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks all.
