They don't, but I have the Gogoclient installed, and the bender server pings. Won't let me activate though.
ok so what are the benefits of being activated? also, can I safely use all the apps on win8 now without microsoft being able to track me or something? Can i use windows update safely too? thanks
same here I did everything..now I am able to ping benderrodriguez-1-pt.tunnel.tserv28.waw1.ipv6.he.net as well. But still my activation is failing with following message for trying to activate Enterprise 32 bit edition.. Please Help!! Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.8 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. Activating Windows(R), Enterprise edition (458e1bec-837a-45f6-b9d5-925ed5d299de) ... People should try putting both 2001:4860:4860::8888 , 2001:4860:4860::8844 in ipv6 and 8.8.8.8 / 8.8.4.4 in ipv4. Reboot or disable network and renable it.
Same error I was getting when gogo6 wouldn't connect, I had success using the amsterdam server in the end
believe me I have tried each and everything given up above. First it took me while to be able to ping ipv6 address, now that I am able to ping it successfully, activation is not working. Seems like machine having these IP are up but KMS server services are down or something...I spent last 4 hours doing this...seems like will have to wait for offline activation now..
I was having all the same problems you guys were, and changing the Ipv6 dns servers to that, and also the ipv4 dns servers to those values also worked, but those numbers won't work unless you restart your computer first. Then when you come back into Windows 8, you just drop in the key code, then follow the same CMD admin commands that everyone has been telling you about. Believe me it works. Before you change the dns servers, though, just open up a cmd in admin mode then perform this command ipconfig /flushdns. Trust me, this will work. Also, you can't be using the Windows Media Center key for your installation, because It won't work then. If you've already used the WMC key, you have no choice but to reinstall Windows 8 pro from scratch, and then do exactly what we listed. I also recommend disabling any third party firewall software you may be running. Also, is it just me, but my enter key does not work on this forum. Why is that?
I would provide more detailed examples of how to get this working for others, but I can't even use my enter key on here. Never experienced that before. Very disorienting.
Did that, rebooted, same stuff, didn't work. I did not use the WMC key either. I just don't know what went wrong =(
And obviously you set the same DNS on the PC too.... did you try the different servers available for gogo6 ?
