Confirm, on W8.1 32 bit multisession for single user (fSinglePerSessionUser=0) didn't work. But multisession work for different users.
Hi, I have tried various termsrv patchers, and i always run into an issue with the sound on the computer. I run windows 8.1, and i'm using the computer as HTPC, and the i use a remote user account for administering the computer while not ruining the HTPC experience. With the patch i use for windows 7, everything works like a charm, but on windows 8, the sound suddenly stops working, and a reboot is needed to get it back. (I did remember to "Plays sound on remote computer" in MSTSC client) I hope there is a solution for this, or ells i'm stuck on w7 //TjaLfE
So just to sum up the last few posts: concurrent sessions are currently not available for 8.1 RTM? Does Windows Server 2013 accomplish this? Can I buy a single license?
Hello all! I found really cool programm for muliti-rdp RDP Wrapper Library by Stas'M Link: stascorp.com/load/1-1-0-63 Very good thing is the original termsrv.dll file remains untouched. Also this method is very strong against Windows Update. Just tested on my Windows 8.1 with termsrv.dll 6.3.9600.17095 - it work! Many thanks to author!!!
Use the same program at same time? Can this be used to allow 2 logins (different user names) AND use the same program? If so I could replace my 12 year old server! Servers and server software are so expensive and all I need to do is have 2 logins at the same time to use 1 program. It is a multi-user program but meant to be used on a server. Another question can this be used on a mac running parallels and win win 8?
Can not get this to work with Win 8.1 Won't Work for me. I get "wrong password" every time I try to login in user # 2.
Hi! This looks AWESOME! It's exactly what I need! However, I run windows 8.1, do you have a patcher for that version? This one got up to "Verifying" and had an unrecognized file. Then it rebooted my PC. Could you possibly release one for 8.1? Greatly appreciated! This is a must have program for users like me!
Thanks! Thanks Peter! I have a remote machine which I want to enable for multiple concurrent logins, and this will hopefully solve my problem! Some of the other walkthroughs on the internet require you to reboot your machine and work on the various dll files in safe mode, which I can't do from remote. So this is especially useful for me! Will try this out and update the forum on my results... thanks once again!
