Just at the moment I create a bootable USB Flash Drive and will also compare the now downloaded version with the old existing one to see what difference their maybe.
You don't even need an activated install of Windows 7, for the Upgrade Assistant to offer you Windows 8 at $39,99. It simply doesn't care whether the Windows you are going to "upgrade" is legit, validated nor activated. And the option to create a USB or ISO file for a clean install just makes this even better.
A single key can be used only for one computer AT ANY TIME. This means if you want to shift to another PC you have to remove it from the old one before moving to a new one. Google around for it, that is also the case with system builder editions so retail isn't an issue.
So just to be 100% clear. I have Windows 7 Ultimate activated with Windows 7 Loader by Daz. If I purchase the 39.99 upgrade to windows 8 I can do an upgrade from Windows 7 and choose the option to keep my apps and files? Or does it only work with the keep nothing option?
I run Windows 7 in trial mode, 29 days left and i could purchase Windows 8. So you don't even need a genuine Windows to be able to buy 8 for 39$.
be careful sharing, every single ISO I have downloaded has a unique hash. BTW, the RTM image works fine.

Does anyone know how to get $14.99 PROMO code properly? I tried punching in serial from DAZ activated Windows 7 (using product key finder) but it doesn't work. Has anyone tried with the "trial key"?
