i'll be good, because ATI ufficialy says that not all products is completely compatibile with WDDM 1.1....

    maybe think about 1.2???

    great marketing strategy.....

That's right, I install them only via Device Manager, because setup is for XP and gives me an error. From DM driver works (for w7), but now not with w8 huh. Anyway, I will try it after two or three hours, last driver, which is for xp again, unfortunately there is no driver for vista or higher version of windows :)

I am running 7955 now - with all the 'fixes' - just having display issues with nvidia drivers. I can not go higher than 1280 x 1024 without scaling being off.

Only thing I can recommend about that is grab a variety of different driver versions, extract them manually with 7zip or WinRAR then hit up the compatibility tab for the actual installer. Or try Manually loading them in Device manager once you extracted them. Last resort force the driver with the 'have disk' option.

Find the error and post it here. Try an older driver.

Can you link to the drivers you are using?

I'm trying to get Catalyst to install display drivers but it just simply won't no matter what I try. I'm using an HD 5850. The drivers Windows installed seem to work fine, but I can't use CCC to configure the settings and I'm getting horrible underscan on my main monitor as it is using HDMI. Ugh.
