Of course I did in windows xp compatibility and the program installs but drivers don't In windows 7 compatibility wont start installation
Hey, dont slash me cause im new lol but try this it worked for me ^^ go into the C:\AMD\ATI11.4....\packages\drivers\display\w7_inf\ then edit CW115519.inf and chnage both instances of NTx86.6.1 to NTx86.6.2 save the file then go update driver in device manager and choose browse my computer etc. then choose have disk then choose the driver files and let it install it worked for me ^^ hope it works for you and the drivers actually stuck 0o lol not a fool proof plan but if it worked here should work there good luck ^^
Yep sorted installed CCC files all manually in C:\AMD\.... etc. rather than through the installer and then enabled framework 3.5.1 went to where it installed set all exe's to compatibility in windows 7 and works ^^ picture here: hxxp://img718.imageshack.us/i/unleduh.png/ ofc replace the xx in http lol PS: Stupid 20 post rule before links -_-
go to C:\AMD\AMD_Catalyst_11.4_Preview_Win7_March23\Packages\Apps\CCC2 and install all the stuff in all the sub-folders ofc except for the stuff labelled 64 on it lol then go to control panel and then program and features etc. tick the box for net framework 3.5.1 and then reboot after reboot go to folder C:\Program Files\ATI Technologies\ATI.ACE\Core-Static\ and make all the exe's run in compatibility mode with windows 7 (not sure may not need compatibility mode lol)
OK, thank you, I will try BTW, DX10 and DX11 aplication works on your system? With integrated driver(I mean 8.810, that was istalled by Windows), I couldn't run any game with DX10/ DX11. Only DX9.
i just ran the ati installer and let it extract the files then closed it. then just went into the device manager and clicked on my video card (video controller) and clicked update drivers and pointed it to the c:/ati folder, and it installed the drivers fine. ati x1950gt
I succeeded once in 7955. I chose windows 7 compatibility mode and right-click the exe, run as administrator. Hope to help~ But one thing is after installation, I still can't see the "my mouse" tab in the setpoint, but at least, it was installed...
Driver wont install....I try from device manager but then I see error message I think we didn't see mouse and keyboard in setpoint because logitech drivers wont install
My mouse-scroll was not working at first (A4Tech Oscar X760 Laser) - I needed to install additional drivers (they weren't needed on Windows 7).
You need to download audio driver from your manufacturer's web site, and then use compatible mode(xp2, vista... when you download, they show you what operating system it's for) to install it...
because maybe subconsciously xp would probably be a safe choice, not that it's true though,i'm just saying
