Windows 8 software compatibility list

AutoCAD 2012 x64 cannot be installed normally and cannot be run on Windows 8 CP.
Error log of installation determine Setup application of AutoCAD cannot install .Net 2.0, .Net 4.0 and DirectX 9. I can install .Net 2.0 - 4.0 and DirectX 9 individually with success.
AutoCAD can be installed after remove .Net and Direct X from PREREQUISITE line (within Setup.ini) but cannot run.

I have also installed the Windows 8 to my computer and have used many of the software with this and none of those software shows me any issue with that.

Puran defrag whith 64 bits but:

only " restart defrag restart" works fine with the boot option.

I'm single boot.

Dual boot with Windows 7 Pro bug, I would not recommend.

Although safe in simple fragmentation, it is a wonder for the regulars.

Microsoft Office Starter 2010 (OEM Preinstallation Kit) has failed with compatibility issues.

 

NO, I mean on the installation stage. I use compatibility mode but it still says it has compatibility issues. I have changed the descriptor also to accommodate Windows 8. By the way, the leaked c2r.microsoft.com version worked fine.

copy this file to an own folder "SetupConsumerC2ROLW.exe" start installation.. it should download and work now

Am i the only one, who has speed problems in utorrent ?

I have been on Windows 8 CP x64 almost since the day it came out and the utorrent behaviour hasn't changed. I start the torrent, its speed gets up to 1,5 MB/s and then it starts to decrease, finally when its download speed reaches about 1kB/s the router looses connection to the Internet. Then, the connection is automatically established, torrent's speed grows rapidly, slows down and so on everything repeats itself ;/ It happens on both - utorrent 2.2.1 and 3.1.3. Nothing helps, i have followed the official speed guides of course to configure the app.

Moreover, it is not an ISP issue for sure, since i can easily get the speed of 1,5 MB/s on any http server or ftp one.
What is weird, the aforementioned issue is not present on Windows 7 x64, so it seems like its the Windows 8 CP x64 bug.
