Windows 8 Visual Styles

Could somebody please tell me hex color code of this blue color (attached below) (in the following format: )

ColorizationColor=0XD9191919
; AutoColorization=1



How can I find it next time BTW? Photoshop gives me only 6 digit number while this one is 0X_and_8_chars...

 

Ignore the 0x, it's indicating that D9191919 is HEX which is "(Alpha/Color Intensity)=D9 R=19 G=19 B=19"

 

Thanks, but 0XD9191919 is only example of 8 chars hex code, I am interested to find the code of this blue:

which is only 6 chars not 8...

 

I explained what the code means.. im not sure how you missed that.. R=A8, G=C2, B=DD.. Red Green Blue
Think about it, look over it, think about it, maybe you get the idea what you are missing to understand.

Well, I asked a quite polite question, when I explained that I need 0x##A8C2DD and two chars ## are missing...
...which is transparency probably, but it is strange, since other colors in other themes don't have this value FF or 00.
...Maybe you are a little bit stupid, when you still don't understand, but that isn't my problem...
In that case it is better to shut-up, not to show your weak-mind...

Photoshop gives me RGB, but I need Alpha-RGB... :/ Will it be FF?

Default Black Color in W8RTM is: Color 1

Default Black Color in W7RTM is: Slate

ColorizationColor=0X9C545454

So the part in the color code: D9 (alpha channel) (Alpha-RGB) (transparency) isn't 00 or FF but D9... Strange

 

the Hex of this blue color is 0XFFA6BFDB
the Colorizationcolor:int is -5849125

 

So, alpha channel works the following way in RTM:

0x##****** as:

##
Transparent - color preview square and taskbar
Range: 00 (absolute transparent) - FF (opague)

##
Color Intensity - all other windows
Range: 1A (absolute light) - FF (absolute dark)
Note: range 00 -19 sets color to absolute dark for some reason unknown

In fact this theme even don't need ux-patching as it is MS-signed, while howto.txt says opposite for unknown reason and pack is also incomplete, while aerolite.msstyle and basic.theme are missing...

Hi!

For some reason I can`t get any of these themes/visual styles in Windows 8 (RTM Enterprise 64bit) to work. When I open the ****.theme file I get a "please wait screen", but after that all is normal, nothing changes.

I have tried UltraUXthemepatcher and this version of yxstyle: hxxp://uxstyle-core.softonic.it, but none of them works. Maybee I have a wrong version of Uxstyle? Their website uxstyle.com seems to be down/not working. I have installed seveal themes on Windows 7 and Windows XP, and I have never had any big problems.

Any ideas what can be wrong? Or any suggestions for other patch programs?
