Try to lower this value:

Interval=1800000
That nice number means 30 minutes, so 10 sec are 10000.
You can find it in actual theme-file, what has slide-show/presentation.

System Themes: \Windows\Resources\Themes
User Themes \Users\<<User_Name>>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

 

Still no success, it was worth a try though. I changed the values for a visual style and a background theme with the same result... if you have any luck could you share the theme file?

I never understood why the "break" the images writing things like "Windows 8".

Do you see Microsoft writing any time such things on any of its backgrounds? This one for instance, could be nice without the letters...
