Maybe and a matching product key and digitalproductid dump would be usefull for testing.

unawave: Windows 8 Product Key Viewer only decodes the product key in "HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\DigitalProductId"
MSDM table is not read, hence no UEFI key is decoded unless for whaterever reason it also would be present in registry.

If you have oem Windows 8, then keys in MSDM table & registry are same.

Is UEFI key bound to only one PC via hardware hash ?

    Thank you, Tito.

    What do you mean with:
What other pre-activated Windows 8 versions do exist besides OEM ?

And: Have you had the possibility to test if UEFI key can be transferred to another, different PC or is the UEFI key bound via hardware hash to only one PC ?

OK - I already thought this.

If I were a nit-picker I would say: If I buy a new individually configured PC in a small computer shop with activated Windows 8 retail version - this could also name "pre-activated".

To be honest they are not even supposed to activate the machine that is up to the user.
