It look like that file ( vista ) isn't good either . I try downloading the Vista from a site I know about and it came back as a good msdn hash . So I'm going to try to imgburn it onto a dvd . Will post back once its done

You need to unpack it (it's RAR file) and check the CRC of the ISO itself!

WinRAR or 7-Zip can unpack RAR files, at least older ones.

I unzip the Vista rar file with winrar and its now an iso file ... Is the CRC from the hash program , if so ? This is the number under the iso file >>> E2AD10F9

Should be the 25AD9A776503E6A583BEC07879DBCC5DFD20CD6E that failed on the RAR.

Yes. This is the correct file. The other hashes will match, too. Personally, I do use the SHA1 hash because 1. MS uses it, too, and 2. it's the most reliable hash out of the three.

Yeah, I thought I had the correct one . I even have a real Microsoft Vista Ultimate disk ( 32 & 64 bits ) But here were the problem is , when I try to install I only have the one option to choose from " Custom " What I don't understand is why is the upgrade option is greyed out ? My only thoughts is because the Windows disc I'm using is a full retail version but here the strange part after Windows loads and I view System , It shows windows as an upgrade version . I was going to add 4 pics to show you but I can't , it wouldn't allow it

Upgrade is disabled because you did not start the Setup from within Windows. You cannot upgrade when booting from the media. It even tells you at the bottom.
