I have used a loader and my system shows activated. I run the SLIC Dump tool and it shows the SLIC 2.1 info. My computer then goes to sleep. After it wakes the SLIC tool says that there is no SLIC info. However, my windows still shows genuine and activated.

    Question is:

Does the authentication process that says my system is activated/genuine run each time that I display Computer properties or does it run on a different frequency?

Vista loader did the same thing for me. When it comes out of sleep the loader don't run again so slic won't be there.

True the loader does not run again. However, memory contents are saved at sleep. Hence the hibernate file.

So why wouldn't SLIC be restored as well? Remember after sleep your system is fully functional and W7 didn't boot again.
