Not sure if it has been said already but there is a redesigned F12 dev tool in IE11 at C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\F12.exe with a quite unique Metro-style look. Wondering if we'll see more desktop apps with that UI.
Beta, alpha or gamma i dont care... and by the way windows blue will probably be released till 2015 or 16 or all customers whom brought windows 8 will suck it up.
oh, you're right, sorry.. the fact is that it told me the file was invalid or something, maybe it was because i still had utorrent in the background
If you come from x64, copy the bootsect.exe from the WinBlue iso and put it in the same folder where your usb tool is. (appdata/local/xx) It should work.
That's my point, a new OS has an upgraded kernel, but a SP doesn't..... You can if you have adsf login, maybe some genius could find a way to port 9200 Store to winblue and make it work, I guess the chance is slim.
As if there was any 128-bit CPU out there, or that there was a need for such a "monster". Believe me, 64-bit will serve us for a looong time to come... Or you just get two additional monitors... on Windows Blue, Metro-style apps are not limited to a single screen anymore.
The leaked build is a nice peek at what we can expect to get when Windows Blue is finished. I checked it out in a VM, but wouldn't use it on a daily basis, so why even bother with activation? The Windows Store doesn't work, the bundled apps are the old Windows 8 ones and can't be updated, the new PC settings app is basically just a placeholder with a bunch of "page under construction" panels... okay, snapping apps is finally enabled for screen resolutions smaller than 1366x768, but what is it worth if you can't install any additional apps? I only hope this update will be available for free for Windows 8 users, because I'm not willing to pay another 30 euros just for some interface tweaks, some additional (basic) bundled apps, and one or two small new features.
