OK deleted rtbackup folder with all its logs ssd usage went to zero for a bit will restart and see, there's other thing writing a lot called bin
Windows 10 is doing everything for you, it is made for people who don't know what a PC is and can walk up to one and use it. The older windows get's the more it will watch itself. It's a fact.
@freiwald thanks it worked there are also other things I could disable. Can I disable event log security? Is it safe? Event log application? Event log system? I changed start to 0 for those
i would not do it because i don't know what are they for and what they do... but readyboot can be safely disabled! glad it helped
Readyboot is disabled ssd usage dropped a bit but there are other apps using it to much on standby. The same happens with graphic card on standby nothing used it will go to three percent and drop to zero every sometime. I didn't see anything like that in windows 8.1 or 7 it could be the driver as it was made for 8.1 and there's none for 10. I also found that the temp of the gpu and ssd is higher in windows 10 vs 8.1
With ReadyBoost disabled here's what I get: i.imgur.com/RdVuMjL.png Normally you should get 0% usage if you don't have a program in the background actively doing something. If you are at 1% usage, then something is reading or writing. Even when copying a 8GB folder to my flash drive, my SSD only had up to 8% usage. Let your system sit for an hour with the task manager open, if it is still at 1% usage then I would be worried because updates wouldn't take that long to download and usage should slow down after a minute with no activity. Whatever is happening is not normal.
