Google already confirmed I am not alone. A lot of software (also client / server stuff) takes its time to "load" data across even small networks, if Defender is enabled. Disabling Windows Defender often is the only solution to avoid these "huge lags". Adding exceptions to Windows Defender and firewall DOES NOT help. If you google "Windows Defender slow down" it reaches back to good old Vista times. No other Antivirus Software is wanted, because of complications with even more software and crypto-USB thingys. So, Windows Defender, I dont think it is THAT bad anymore, shall be the only thing "defending" this LAN. It is an order. There is no way some antivirus stuiff will mess inside of this LAN. Is there a "more detailed" way to analyze the network traffic of various programs on HOW Windows 10 Defender interferes with these ? Im not talking wireshark here, but a way to look at defender and how it "messes" with certain programs, even if they are added as no threat and why it does slow down that much ? Highest Regards
