hello i hav a question can i install nvidia drivers on my w8?(no touch) does it hav any problems after install it?
Hello, I installed WDP yesterday and in fact the latest NVidia drivers are downloaded and installed with Windows update. You don't have to care about that.
I reinstall this version about 3 times and everytime system was halted after few minutes, i don't know why, build 7989 work perfect but this still too much buggy for my laptop.
I reinstalled WDP just for entertainment yesterday and have troubbles with my optical mouse....I have the correct drivers but just the mice does not want to work...
Any number of applications (or recent games for that matter) will trigger the Add Features dialog box (known triggers - Office 2007 or later, NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 and The Run, Crysis 2, DC Universe Online). If you have an AMD graphics adapter, Catalyst 11.9 and later will install over the engineering-sample driver without a reboot (client versions only). Hyper-V Manager will install - however, core support for Hyper-V (WDP non-server versions only) requires support for second-level address translation (SLAT). CPUs known to support SLAT - Intel LGA1155 (Pentium G620 and above). AMD - FX series (Bulldozer). So far in most cases, unless an application or game expects a particular OS (hard-coded OS-ism), it will work just fine; in some rather surprising cases (DC Universe Online being one) it actually runs *better* in WDP than in 7 - and it certainly isn't the drivers, as I'm using the same ones that i do in 7
