Ha! I got it working! The problem was probably the CAB's location. I changed it to C:\Temporary and it's now integrating. The previous location was: C:\Users\EF9E~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Rar$EXa0.635 Oh and by the way, the temp changing location isn't working in the app I moved the CAB file manually. Edit: It's working only for the mounting process. Thanks.
I've installed the EN MSDN Windows 7 Ultimate w/SP1 x64 and I'm testing your new version soon.. Thanks for the work
Does the updates downloader include all of the win7 updates or only the updates after sp1? I only ask because I seem to have 450+ updates for w7x64 and another 450+ for w7x86. Thanks in advance. Great program or shall I call it app as Microsoft likes to call things nowadays ...
Hi, Possible bug? Using 2.2. I notice that integrator.ini [Updates] section has the last line incomplete: [Updates] ...list of updates... Windows6.1-KB2727118-x64.msu Windo Granted I'm trying to integrate 444 updates. I haven't been able to complete an integration yet as the program becomes unresponsive. I'm using Windows 7 SP1 (x64). Is the incomplete line in the .ini a problem? Edit: I have successfully integrated all updates using WDI. However, when I actually try to install using the created ISO I end up in a reboot loop where I'm told a component could not be setup please reboot to setup the component. Anyone else having problems trying to integrate all updates? Regards, niche99
As someone who has been slogging away setting up wds and figuring out the ins and outs of mdt the past week I'm extremely happy there are people like you making my life less miserable. I'm grabbing some fresh ISO's right now because mine are not so fresh but I'm looking forward to not having to babysit a poorly hand crafted script of my own on a particularly weak piece of donated hardware that makes dism tasks several hours long. You have my absolute gratitude for building this.. I may get some sleep yet this week. Thank you so much!
I just want to say I have exactly the same problem as niche99. The making of the ISO took some 5 hours, and then: The install of Ultimate x64 with all updates is corrupt and causes eternal reboot. Tried the same with no updates, and it installed ok! So there IS a problem with many updates, in my opinion. Not tried x86 though. (Some of the updates were for x86 also, and the "app" warned for that, and I had to remove them manually.)
Sorry, I have always the server off-line and does not update anything at all. There is a solution, thanks a lot
Solution = You need to be online.. Dont go integrating updates you know nothing about, 100 + will cause problems for you, let alone 400 +
