    Never used sfc, so would not notice it not being there (or being there)
    But POSReady 2009 is pretty fast for older hardware that originally came with XP

    Just as it says. As it is the same base code, how would you expect POS 2009 updates, but NO XP updates (it would be impossible)

    Ending support for Windows XP is a business decision (political if you will) not a technical one.

    Thanks that worked

    EDIT - Wow, it's worse than Windows 98se for asking for the Windows disk for installing just about everything, VMWare tools, even Windows update keeps asking for the Windows disk, what a PITA
