I take it there is no way of changing the installation path, right? Wish I could avoid installing this cr@p, but I need to install the messenger (16.4.3505.912). It would be a slight comfort to at least be able to chose where I want to install it ... hate it when apps trying to be 'user friendly' and not giving us the option of choice!
Live Messenger is being scrapped in a couple of months anyway, you will have to use the new Microsoft Skype instead. The only worry is how Microsoft will recoup the $8.5 billion they paid for it...
erm... run the regular installer instead of the all in one essentials installer? i'm currently on a modified older version of msn where you have to edit the exe to raise its version number so it's allowed to sign in EDIT: or make an ntfs junction, but what's so important about changing the location if it's not portable or large?
