Maybe antivirus is blocking the download of the application. [False-positive]

    Temporarily disable and try..

    Hello Paiva,

Firstly, I repair computers for a living but I could not do what you and Tito and Josh Cell do so - - - RESPECT :hug2:

I use your program to recover passwords for my clients if I am forced to do a wipe and reload, as often they forget them - they seem to like that I can find the passwords even if they are now more knowledgeable about what is stored on their computer :)

Your program is close to perfect for my needs.

The only thing I can think of is that some of the information is duplicated. For example isn't the information in the "browsers" file just a total of all the information in the IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome etc browsers all combined?

Would it be simpler just to keep the 'browsers' file and get rid of the IE, Firefox, Safari, Chrome etc searches?

Or perhaps I am missing something - not the first time I am sure

Have a great day and greetings from Perth, Australia!

    Cheers,

    Paul

    @West Swan

    Thanks for your opinion.

All this is to help everyone.

All MDL Projects are good and free.

Congratulations to all who work here.

I understood your question of "browsers" and will modify it later. ;)

Thank you for your sincerity. :p

    Regards,

Any progress with OOP (Object-oriented programming) for this application?

Visual Studio and C# is nicer for beginners... You can easily make an GUI for this with some controls (Custom folder to restore the passwords, Aero Glass implement).. Not needed any experience with C#... We can help-you with it :)

Paiva, thank you so much for this tool.
I really whish it could be able to work on any drive I choose, for example if I needed to get the passwords from an attached HDD from another machine.
    Best regards
    Nitnem

Hi already tried anti virus disabled no go ?
after throwing up the error message it appears to place the passwords into a temp folder :
    c:users / app data / local / temp / rarsfx0 / passwords ????
obviously I cannot control the path so how is this happening ?
    any thoughts ?
