    System error 2
System cand find the specific file

    slmgr.vbs -ato

Why is a XP volume Key installed in your system?

You need to rearm your system. Run command prompt as Administrator and type the following command and reboot.
    Code:
    slmgr -rearm
If that does not solve your problem, you need to get the untouched ISO from the repository and do a clean install.

I agree with MD here dude. The Rearm should fix it. I have no idea why you would have an XP Volume key installed. Probably some retarded pre-activated crap. For future reference I would never install a custom OS unless you trust the source like Rockersteam for example. You should always use the untouched ISO from M$. That way you don't get viruses or corrupt OSes.

Try System Restore, go back to when it was working.

    @ urie

It looks like he has used some reg hack for XP.

Dude, do a clean install but do not format. That way you reinstall win7 and all your documents and whatnot will be in a folder on the C:\ Root called "Windows.OLD" where you can restore everything over. That is what I do half the time. Or partition the drive if it is a big drive so that you can copy everything over to the other half and then format the system partition. Either way works just as good though.

Go to C:\Windows\winsxs\ folder. Search for sppsvc.exe and copy it to sysWOW64 folder.

Figured the system restore wouldn't help, my final opinion is to do a fresh install of windows using an untouched iso from MS

    Edit: repair install

Well if you do that just don't format so you can recover your important files.

I just had the same warnings 2 days ago as the op, first time in a 5 months I have had this, I followed what MD suggested above, then run remove wat, and it has removed the validation warning, working like a charm now.

    Many thanks to you both.

    Cheers
