Hi, I dont know really if this question has been answered before, but after seeing that Microsoft patched Windows Home Server with Power Pack 1, I wanted to know if there is a method to activate WHS like Vista with SLIC or XP with the famous 'Hewlett-Packard' string.

I have read in some places, even here, some things but I didnt got a clue what to do and if its possible, any help?

I would also be very interested in knowing this. Since no BIOS updates exist for the MediaSmart Server, can only hope someone can run Everest on one and find out for us if there is a Slic or not.

It uses the same method as XP & Server 2003. The Hewlett-Packard slp v1 string via a dmi editor will do fine.
