Try running Windows Update and downloading the few missing files. There is a bug with some of the NetFx3 updates where it thinks they are superseded, but they are not. There is also a bug with one of the monthly rollup companion files.
OK, tried that. These (attachment) updates were offered by WU. After installing and restarting the VM I rechecked (sfc /scannow), still the same scenario, fails at 45% (x86) though I didn't test x64 this time but I guess it would give the same result.
Many thanks Sir. Please check on both architectures. EDIT: Since we are close to another Patch Tuesday, please do it with this month's update if possible and give us a NEW YEAR gift or you can still conclude it with Dec2014 release, it's your wish.
I already pointed the error in log Code: (F) STATUS_OBJECT_NAME_NOT_FOUND "C:\Windows\WinSxS\amd64_microsoft-windows-com-dtc-runtime_31bf3856ad364e35_6.3.9600.17415_none_0a5dfdcc33c06e7e\MSDTC.LOG" when you capture the image after sysprep, do you exclude all *.log file in wimscript.ini? you could add the file under: Code: [ExclusionException] MSDTC.LOG
abbodi1406 is powerful mdl guru and surely murphy78 will agree with this... Trust me when I say to trust abbodi1406
Ah! You got me wrong Sir. I didn't mean to disagree but I mean that I don't know the stuff he's talking about.
murphy I need your help Im using this iso: es_windows_8.1_with_update_x64_dvd_6051503.iso and the office pro, visio pro, and project pro images from the Microsoft-Office-2013-With-SP1-RTM-Volume-License-ISO-Original-from-VLSC thread Im following this guide for online integration. So I shrink the partition, then I install the iso there, then I create a random offline user, then I activate .net framework 3.5, update directx, install the 3 office products and then I update everything and check again for updates several times. When there are no more updates I go on audit mode, delete the user, run the DISM component cleanup with resetbase comand, run windows disk cleaning tool and portable ccleaner and finally reboot, to put the system on oobe mode with the generalize option, then I get into my old windows and using gimagex I create a install.wim, which then I clean up using wintoolkits clean up wim option in the wim manager. But then I am confused, because to boot into uefi mode on some computers the usb has to be in fat32 format, so I split the 7gb wim in 4095mb parts using dsim and the splitimage command, but then I get the license file error during windows instalation. I tried to follow your post on splitting the wim for an AIO but it is really confusing, I have the es-ES licenses folder for the single index core version Im trying to install, but how do I get it to work? I got the licenses folder before capturing the wim, just navigated to the es-ES folder and copied it, but, how do I capture the wim or split it so it has the folder? where do I put it? Im not trying to make an AIO, just a single index, core 8.1 with integrated office. help me please :s
Hi Murphy78, Is this page manage by you? https:// www . facebook.com/pages/Murphy78-MDL/537908969635369 I think many of us waiting for you to release the latest update, or you can post your status in the page to keep us update? Thanks!
No it's not. I have no idea who made that. I have a lot of people that re-upload stuff and make random decisions with my stuff. I'm sure Microsoft feels the same way about me.
murphy78, if I used an 8.1 v1 release, does it mean install was corrupted no matter which edition i installed?
You have to do split-wim and make sure all the appropriate licensing files are in the first split. Search for 8.1 split-wim uefi or something... I made a post about how to do it.
I only looked for errors and found them. I didn't check all indexes. You're welcome to run "sfc /scannow", but I seem to remember the weird MS Update issues on all the indexes, so it's probably as waste of time.
First you have to make Office Unattended (automated) then you put it in your $OEM$ or scripts folder and add a line in your setupcomplete.cmd
