Hey all, I have a MCE 2005 HP computer that needs a fresh install of the MCE 2005 OS on it. I downloaded a untouched retail copy of MCE 2005 (2 disks) on here and installed it but the product key seems to be invalid despite being a legitimate key that came with the PC bought from PC World. I assume this is down to the product key being for OEM versions and the version I downloaded being Retail? I rang up M$ to ask if this could be resolved and they sent me to HP to get the OS disks, which to no surprise costs alot. If anyone could give me a free solution, a link to an OEM version that supports my product key, then I would be very grateful as my PC is now essentially a virus ridden door-stop! Kind regards, TLF
