I use WMC in 8.1 Pro to watch cable television (CableCard setup) and I use dual monitors. While I watch TV on one monitor I'll use the other for surfing the internet and other stuff. Quite frequently while using other programs, Windows Media Center steals focus and I'll inadvertently do something like change the channel or change a setting that I don't mean to. Windows Media Center is the ONLY program that ever steals focus and it's incredibly annoying. Does anybody else ever have problems with WMC stealing focus, and is there any remedy for this situation? I've researched this problem for an hour or two, and all of the 'solutions' involve registry changes that involve other programs and not WMC. I appreciate any input regarding this...thank you.
