RTM = 3. You may have got more if you have used allot of activation methods and then uninstalled each. It could even be that your application managed to add one somehow.
That's what I just did. I installed windows 7 on a friend's laptop, installed infiniterearm4 but decided to uninstall it and try Daz's loader 1.8 rc5. All the other computers I checked had 3 rearms left. Anyway, thanks for the info.
To all, thanks !. Look I did all systems from scratch with no loaders. Moded bios, installed WIN 7 and activated first time. Maybe is the way 7 meant to work? DAZ: I used yours in VISTA before and no re arms. Even the moded BIOS ones from scratch wtih no loaders do not come up with that. This is when I suspect is unique to 7
Ok, I think I understand how this works then (I think). On fresh install before applying either a loader or digital cert (after moding) rearm defaults 4 and then with either method goes to 3 and remains for as long as activation is activated. VISTA does not have that,as far as I know therefore can I conclude that 1) 7 has got it (WIN 2008 Server checked and does not have it either) 2) Vista and 2008 does not have it either

Just when your done testing it reinstall you favorite OEM SLP key Well after true install of InfiniteRearm4 v1.9.2 you would have 4 rearms so something to do with Daz loader must reduce 1 rearm or leave it at 3 after it's installed assuming RTM gives you only 3 which I think is 50% true? InfiniteRearm4 works for Server 2008 R2
Daz loader does not reduce anything. When you install Windows you have 3 rearms by default. The install.wim has the first date of 07-14-09 and when you install Windows, it uses a rearm at the end of installation to give you 30 days and 3 rearms.

My apologies Timesurfer. My friend insists that I reinstalled windows prior to using Daz loader. I did try twice to recreate the events yesterday but the rearms I get is always 3. *Also you get 4 if you reset the rearm count manually or with your app.
Basically you get 3 by default, his program gives you 4. That is not ever normal though unless you hack the OS lol
Both but my program has many other things that in using GUI like install task, elliminate nag, and install default keys for various windows 7 OS's
