Dont have any idea about Dell Standard SLP key...can you please give me an examples or explanation regarding this.
SLIC 2.1 in memory (via bios/loader) + Appropriate cert + Dell standard slp key -> Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard is activated!!
At least on my computers, I have noticed that the SLIC, certificate, and SLP key must be from the same OEM now for Server 2008/R2. For example, they all must be Dell to activate. Having Asus SLIC and cert with Dell/HP SLP key does not activate any more.
@Tito, what DVD ISO can be used to get it to activate? I have downloaded Standard 2008, not R2 and it activated first try. I have also downloaded 2 more ISO's of R2 standard and they don't activate. I found this link and am downloading all of them: mydigitallife.net/download-windows-server-2008-r2-with-sp1-integrated-iso-image-original-unmodified If you could give me a hint as to which ISO you have seen success with I can stop wasting my time. I am looking to see what R2 Standard/Enterprise ISO will activate with only SLIC2.1 and Dell_2.1.xrm-ms Cheers and thanks! -z
Little Help, I pulled en_windows_server_2008_r2_standard_enterprise_datacenter_and_web_with_sp1_x64_dvd from the technet account, and I'd love to add the Dell SLP Keys + Certs for activation. This way at work, I can just have one disc. My problem is i added the $OEM$ folder from my Dell 2008 Standard disc and no workie. (Obviously). Is there a way I can download the Certs, then add all the SLP keys manually to the disc and have a universal disc? Thanks
