On my windows 8 Pro 64 bit, it crash (Gadgets has stopped working) on every 2 start If any have a solution, please share it.
installed on Pro x32 and worked but sudden crashes and hangs in some of the control pannel issues ..... So can anybody help in how i can undo these changes and restore the system to original state ????
You can use this .reg-script, it will delete all entries set by installer. after log off sidebar is deactivated. Regards
Thanks Jayblok, I have tried the HTC Home 1.9 , that copies the phone gadget But the Windows 7 gadgets are by far more complete, I guess this solution will only work on Windows 8, not XP
Nice, although this one seems to use the Vista sidebar which isn't as flexible as the Windows 7 one. Update: I can't make the Sidebar (the one on the 1st page) to work, it seems to install fine but when I click on a gadget nothing happens, or I get an 'Unspecified error'. Using Windows 8 Pro x64.
Only on first look. After install, right click on this vista-like sidebar and close it. Then it works like the one in Win 7. Using this solution myself, works like charm. Give it a try . Regards

i cant install this... says access is denied when creating start menu shortcut for "Desktop Gadget Gallery"
no...... when i try to install it this happens...... when i press ok, this happens... what am i doing wrong???? is it because it only works for rtm??? mine is pro version..
I have the sidebar working on german windows 8 for 2 months now. Just had to edit the Gadgets (Language). Works Great !!! And is in my opinion much better than this 8gadgetpack. Thank you very much for realizing this
