    I have a brand new Dell server with SBS 2011 preinstalled. How do I extract the key? The server was never boot yet.

    Alex, it's ok to boot the server to get the key - use the SLIC Toolkit that Aprokrif linked to. In the Advanced tab, click Backup.

    Sorry for the stupid question...but what SLIC 2.1 and certificate are you using with SBS2011 standard?
    Are you using old 2.1 HP for Win7?

    Many thanks to dim-soft for the key :biggrin:.. I have a question here.. There are some people who have access to MS technet.. But waiting for OEM key to get their copy activated.. Can some1 explain me why is that??

    TechNet subscriptions generally permit a limited number of activations .... OEM activations are limitless, thats my guess.

    I know the HP and IBM keys our public and already in Windows Loader 2.0.4. Call me crazy but I feel most comfortable using a Dell key with a Dell machine in case MS decides to start checking keys against certs even though right now the SLP keys are interchangeable.
