windows store = no update, no install possible

    hi
    the store tiles work fine but any installation of a new app from the store or any app update aborts saying "application did not install... blabla..."
    any idea ?

    try and disable your AV for testing, then set it up to allow connection depending on what you use

    hey, I had that particular problem few minutes ago !! the solution was : activating windows firewall even though I have eset's firewall activated ... weird heuh !! :p

    I had that problem with Fruit Ninja, turns out that the update was now a Paid version and the one I had installed was Free so it couldn't update unless I bought it

    I'm really grateful ! it's weird: as you advised I simply had to activate the W8 firewall and this worked ! NIS is still running alongside but does not cause any hicup.
