yes i know that, that's what i was referring to in my previous post, when i said it all started well, i meant that it sarted well by mounting successfully the image then by integrating all the updates successfully but unfortunately while unmounting the image, i got an error so i was not able to use the install.wim.
Well i think if this is all so such.. with this version of windows.. better way to do this is to run installation script of updates silently when running setup or after your first boot. i think that will be better option to integrate any updates is to patch afterwards silently.
You mean running all 200-300 updates by setupcomplete.cmd? No just run the updates using w8ui offline and most of the updates will be integrated.
Does WUMT behave like original WU ? Maybe i can just use WUMT and then sysprep. BTW can't find the w8ui script.
All scripts by @abbodi1406 : https://forums.mydigitallife.net/threads/abbodi1406s-batch-scripts-repo.74197/ and yes, WUMT can just install all updates for you, but windows update only, as you probably can't change to MS Update in audit mode on 8..
But you can do it too by just first creating the user account in the VM and use windows update/microsoft update for installing all updates and next reboot into audit mode, and when you capture the VM you can simply use the exclusion ini's by @abbodi1406 (it's all in the link to @s1ave77 thread i gave earlier tonight)
Well thx again. It's a bit off topic but do you think Meltdown/Spectre patches are really effective do it's even possible to completely be secure from this issue ?
Well, many methods works as long as those methods don't leave any trash behind then just sysprep all and forget it.
Using Windows Update MiniTool work's perfect in Audit mode. but there is only 84 updates ? its not that much at all..
