Hi everyone! I disabled windows updates with O&O ShutUp10 but... i reverted the changes back because i used donotspy and it f*cked my whole system... Only shutup10 was able to revert its changes to factory defaults...

Now in windows update the update for 1511 doesn't appear and i was able to choose i wanted to receive Insider upgrades (slow ring)!

Any ideas how can i upgrade to 1511_1? Downloaded the iso:
    Win10_1511_1_N_EnglishInternational_x64.iso

When i try to boot it and upgrade my current windows instalation, it just gets me a message that i need to run setup.exe from windows..

Now i tried to run setup.exe and prompts me for a cd-key... tried windows 8.1 key that i got and it says its invalid!

How the hell to i upgrade to 1511_1? Thank you all <3

You put the new ISO on Your desktop, mounted it, then clicked Run as Admin ?

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

I'm on My 10th (I think I counted right) install in VM plus one on bare metal in the last two Days and I was always able to click I don't have a key. Not sure if checking for updates really makes any difference other than taking longer to install. You still have to update after it installs.

Your upgrade iso doesn't seem to contain the corresponding win 10 index (i.e: when you use a 1511(.1) pro (only) iso on a win 10240 home install).

    Or you are using a 1511(.1) N iso on a NON N 10240 install ;)

So, use the correct/corresponding iso for upgrade.

ps, English-International is British not English-US.

in my sons computer with 10240 [clean install in august 2015 , MTKVed ]
and [notify to download] setted in [settings / windows update]
the 1511 update wasn't shown up
till I uncheck [defer upgrades] option

    after I uncheck this option
1511 update instantly appear and start downloading
    and was installed successfully.
[not like a simply update or cumulative ,
as full upgrade like insider versions / 3 restarts ... ]

    this was in march 2016.
