hi all i have automatic updates on install automatically and i set to 15.00 but i dont see any icon in taskbar down where is clock keyboard... etc like in windows xp small yellow icon show me that upd is avaliable now i manually run wind update and i see 1 update avaliable .
In Windows 8, update process have been automated with less annoyance to user. In default configuration (automatic), all recommended updates are installed by default at scheduled time. If you enable updates for all Microsoft products, then important updates are installed too, but optional updates including drivers or very specific non-necessary updates are shown to user and don't get installed automatically. It has been like this to keep user system functional as driver update might break something in user-configured system.
