to all, the new version needs a new language file, you are welcome if you want to make your own language file, thanks

How to translate UI?
Open wumt, click on it
Press Ctrl+Shift+L to generate language file. Open .lng file in Notepad and edit strings. Send link to file and it will be add to distro.

I believe that to avoid misunderstanding could be necessary to update the info in first post with the news.

My language is linked in previous post.

The string "txt_Groupbox_AutomaticUpdates" is translated but seems is not used.

For me the string Update History="Update History" in teh context should "Be History" (it's a list of update)

For the string txt_Groupbox_SearchSettings="Search settings" that it's the button that update the list of updates should be "Refresh updates"

When you start the application I see on bottom

[hh:mm:ss]: xxx

(where xxx is the translator name). What's the scope of this?

at least the Jan 14 or later (2022) versions of WUMT work with Win7 & 8.x again as the 1-7-2020 version of wumt only ran under Win10

 

Works on OS from Windows 7 to Windows 11 (support for 2000, xp, vista has been discontinued by Microsoft, unable to connect to check for updates)
