Wondering why would someone move the user folder? Then how did you logged in to the Windows? by creating a new user account? Please explain more.

    Thanks

I assume you only changed the path from the original location to it's new location on the other partition..?
Can't you just restore the path..?

Or did you just 'copy/paste' the Users folder from C:/ to the other partition..?
Does that even work, considering what Thamarai says about Windows not being able to locate the user-account on start-up..?

Another Ian82 retarded advice...to fix it move the user folder to its original location, then perform a repair install and stay away of those tweaks.

thanks to all .. I used these commands to move the entire folder "Users" because I use a 128 gb ssd only

    robocopy /copyall /mir /xj H:\Users G:\Users
    rmdir /S /Q H:\Users
    mklink /J H:\Users F:\Users

naturally using the drive letters right.
so you can not do this on windows 8.1? thanks again
