You've got it, not that stupid after-all hé? Sorry i find it hard to believe you've tried everything mentioned in that KB article, especially because you came up with a lame answers within minutes... so what is your actual problem? Correction, nevermind, you made it on my 'ignore list'
First it was the firewall, then it wasn't fixed, now you're not responding to whether any of the suggestions helped, even when someone tried holding your hand through the process? I'll throw this in the abyss: if the firewall was blocking Windows update, there's a potential of malware blocking it. Check using an up-to-date scanner.
I´m glad i made it into your ignore list checked thats no malware, virus or else. Edit: it was my AV causing that error -.- So firewall was blocking windows update - so i put svchost.exe in the exclusion list - windows update worked then i got a error - turning off av solved Omg do i say that i m not glad you helped me? so is this too a lame answer?
yeah it was solved on the fourth site -.- i had problem with that windowsactivationupdate.exe that i got an error now its fixed
Ok, congratulations BTW, what AV/firewall are you using... it looks kinda strict to me (maybe even too strict ) I'll put a lock on this one soon, as it is solved, ok?
ok, only for info that av was eset nod 32 i am using the standard windows firewall can you tell me what av is good as eset?
can you tell me why do i have 2 red squares under my name ^^ and its validating online now about for 15 minutes and its continuing
I agree with Urie here, Avast is a very good and simple to use AV product. ESET can be very picky if you dont set it up properly. As for your red squares, well somebody has given you negative reputation my friend. You will need to gain reputation points from other users by contibuting to the forum and helping others. Good luck
