Thanks for the program, it makes getting the updates that much easier :) Out of curiosity, when it comes to actually installing them, do you have to do them one by one or is there a way to do them in a group. Thanks.

    Hi Steven,

Many thanks for keeping the list going. It saves many of us a lot of time.

If it helps, I just used your recent list ( 2013-03-12 ) on 7x64pro image.

I left the following updates out. I installed that image. WU has not offered them, and they are also on Burf's superseded list.

I think it is safe to remove them from your lists.

No, they still needed as my Update Lists only include what MS releases on the Download Center or the Catalog site, not what McRip or komm release in their repos.

    Hi Steven,

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I wasn't very clear.

I didn't use anything from McRip or Komm.

I only used your list - minus those above.

    I tested with both x86 and x64.

After installing from the updated images, WU wanted WUA, and these three:

    KB2647753-v2
    KB2718704
    KB2533552

    I also ran Ricktendo's NF4.5 slim imstaller.

WU has not asked for any of those I removed from your list.

WUA needs to be either installed or integrated so WU stops nagging. And I have no plans to include WUA in my lists!

You can integrate KB2647753-v2 and KB2718704 into offline image.

KB2533552 cannot be integrated into an offline image, so unless you reverse integrate this update, it will always ask to be installed through WU after a fresh install!

Yes, I use the .NET4.5 slim installer too:)

That's ok, we can just untick the superseded updates if you want to leave them in there.

Thanks for continuing with making the lists.

OK. I will leave KB2670838 out - just in case

    I get it ;)

Right. My plan is to include the following:

    Security & Non-Security: Include all (except KB2533552, KB2603229, KB2506143, KB2823180, KB947821-v26 & KB2670838)

    Service packs: none

    .NET 3.5.1: all

MS Security products: Malicious Soft Removal Tool

Optional updates: IE, Silverlight, Sys Upd Readiness Tool, Genuine Adv Diag Tool, Win Management Framework, .NET 4.5, DirectX

    Pre-release software: none

Language packs: Clarification needed here - ISO I use is already in English - so do I need to get the English language pack again? Is it an update as such - or just an option for non-English ISOs

    Display drivers: all

    Adobe flash player: all

    :aerobueke:

Steven, thanks for the updates for W7 and W8 via WUD, however kb 2774195 for W8 RTM X64 is not downloadable, I've done a search of this one , it's not available but seems to be only for Italian language. Can you confirm ? Thx
