windows updates

    hi ,all i've vista ultimate sp1 installed in my pc i've all the updates till sate now i want to format and reinstall my machine is possible,that i can hav backup of all the updates and install those in my newly installed machine?

    I don't know of anyway to save them, but if you look up the KB# for each one and download them, you can slipstream them with V Lite

    You can do it like chianf092 mention using vlite, or somehow get a hold of a vista ultimate sp1 disk.

    ok but can anybody will tell me how to do that with the use of vlite and slipstream them?

    First get the copy of the ISO, now you will need a program that can extract ISO to a folder. WinRAR is a good program for that.

    Go to the V-lite homepage, and download the newest one. 1.2 I think

    Browse to the folder you extracted your ISO files to.
    On the first tab select integration, hotfixes, and add all the KB (windows Updates) files to that list.

    You can also tweak the version for yourself if you want. Then click Apply.

    Make a new ISO, and burn it at the lowest settings your DVD burner will allow.

    There you go, all set!
