    My question is will an upgrade/customs installation of Windows 7 from Windows Vista OEM using retail Windows 7 upgrade disc invalidate Vista licence key ? Just curious.

    It would be impossible to blacklist the Vista oem key if it was preinstalled on 100's computers but if it was bought at fry's or newegg it could become blacklisted.
