Hi to everyone. I have a win vista SP2 evaluation copy buuild 6002 runing on my system for quite some time now, and now that Vista SP2 final is now available. I can't seem to uninstall the SP2 evaluation copy on my system.I've done uninstalling it through the installed update menu,but after rebooting my pc for many times thed SP2 is still there on my winver command...I understand that in order to install the new and final Sp2 the beta Sp2 must be uninstall first, but i cant coz due to these problem...Pls need help on these...Thanks.
Failed SP install or uninstall is almost imposible to fix... You might want to try running the folowing scripts. It will make your Vista Update Service into thinking that no update has ever been installled. I'm also ataching a restore script, so you can get back to where you were. Run the scripts from Elevated CMD (e.g. Run as administrator).
