Hello: I just purchased a new desktop with Windows Vista Home Premium as operating system. It is an HP computer. Everything works fine, but I can't move files from an external hard drive (Seagate - USB) to the new computer. External drive is being seen by new computer, I can get a directory, but I can't move files to new computer, or execute them from new computer. Files on external drive were written form my old Windows XP machine. We have tried eveything under the "Take Ownership and Grant Permission" sections of Vista to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. MAS
