If your old laptop came with Vista pre-installed it probably has a slic for Vista. Run the QT from here and see if it reports a valid slic, when it does you can either install vista and run DAZ' Windows Loader and it will genuinely activate your install using the slic, by installing the cert and oem:slp. Or use the MRP $OEM$ files when installing Vista.
Hello, how are you! Please, I am confused about the iso and svf files, it is not clear which file to download, I would get if possible the iso x64 and x86 images and in the x64 file description for example the names are different. Example; en_windows_vista_sp2_x64_dvd_342267.iso (this is the base iso, correct?) pt_windows_vista_with_sp2_x64_dvd_x15-36319.svf (modification package, correct?) What will be the final file, name for example ?, just run svf as an exe? If it is yes, I do not understand this difference of "vista_sp2 and vista_with_sp2. It may seem obvious to anyone who has English as a native speaker or has a good deal of software knowledge but to me it's a bit incomprehensible, even with a translator... Please, if possible I would like some help on this, thank you!!
Thanks for answering! I need iso x86 and x64 pt-br sp2 (separated) Are these images multi-systems or only have one edition per file? Thank you very much!!
Hey everyone, i'm looking for a Vista SP2 german iso like crazy in the last few days, but i can't find anything. It would be great if someone could upload this ISO: de_windows_vista_sp2_x64_dvd_342287.iso. Yes, i'm aware that Vista is no longer supported but at least i can install the 2008 updates on it and can use a fairly decent patched version of Vista. Thanks
Hi, I'm looking for Windows Vista Home Basic OEM X13-04655 Any idea where I can download that? I know a guy that has a key for that one, and also i'm not sure if that key would work for other versions of vista? Thanks
I have a Vista sticker with X13-04655 mentioned on my mom's Dell Inspiron e1405 laptop that came with Vista Home Basic OEM edition 32bit. The DVD ISO image has Vista Home Basic RTM (no service packs) and was supplied to PC manufacturers like Dell, Acer, HP, etc. what name brand computer do you have, galdo? the Vista Home Basic oem dvd disc I have is Dell specific why not use the updated Vista SP2 ISO image that LostED mentioned - although it's an all-in-one w/ multiple editions, entering the Vista basic key from setup will install the Home Basic edition
