It replace imageres.dll image resources on \Windows\System32.... But, it make an back-up of original file

Yeh bro ive tested also in vmware with success, the application is now updated to 0.4 (UpdateResource) is now used instead of 3rd party app (reshacker). Application size is reduced dramatically..
You can try, next time just ask for the method i used, its kinda disrespectful to want to decompile any developers work, you could of just pm'd me!!!
Well thats not how we do things here osh, i'd of provided the source along with the app if that was the case. This however is closed source, other developers should respect that. Im always willing to provide methods and any help if people are interested. Also i would have gave you the source if you had asked nicely.

works under VM x86/x64 EN-US ultimate image.. Will test this on a real machine sometime this week as soon as i get some time on my hands to create a partition on the test computer
