I got a error like that when i placed a number on the wrong place, maybe you did that. Do you use any loaders ?
Hi, I tried the Medion Vista Home Basic Key from Post #1, it wouldn't activate . Can anyone help please. Medion Laptop, Thank You Very Much . All The Best.
Maybe those editions came with SP1 or SP2 installed (included on the disk). So you don't need to download them via windows updates.
Yes you're right, those are from additional SP1 KeyRanges, thus these two keys won't work on Vista Gold, and if to use pidchecker with pkeyconfig.xrm-ms from build 6000, they'll fail. BTW, "X14-23984" isn't Edition ID, it's PartNumber, that means, if i understand correctly, just a number of a certain range of keys. It's just that OEM:SLP keys have only one or two such groups of keys for each Vista edition, but Retail or OEM:NONSLP keys have very many different PartNumbers...
yes, that makes sense (i used Vista SP2 pkconfig.xrm-ms) in the online PidCheck so that's probably why it validated just fine
