Finds product keys by Product IDs Despite of Vista's PIDXCHK program, is there another program available that simply finds product keys by Product IDs only? Product key hunting in public is risky. Merci!
Have you tried use one of the Ultimate keys at the start of this thread? The key does not need to be a Samsung key.
Upgrading Vista Succes Hi Urie Thanks For The Info In Previous Post Very Helpful Just To Inform You & Others I Did A Vista Upgrade Using The MSDN version en_windows_vista_with_service_pack_1_x86_dvd_x14-29594.iso Not On My Toshiba Laptop But A Dell Laptop I Upgraded From Vista Home Basic To Vista Ultimate I Obtain My Dell OEM Cert From The Folder You Direct Me To Then Obtain The MSDN Version Of Vista Than Followed The Instruction Of How To Make My Own OEM Dvd With The Added Files The Pop The Dvd Into The Drive And Done A Windows Vista Upgrade From Within Windows Then Change My Product Key To Vista Ultimate That Matches My Make From The First Page Of The Thread Then It Auto Activates When I Was On-Line To Check EveryThing Was Ok I Tested It By Windows Genuine Website & It Pass Then I Ran Windows Updates And I Receive All the Updates & Extras That Ultimate Needs Dreamsceance Etc Etc Everything Works Ok Great Been No Problems Just One Question When I Go To Do This Later On My Toshiba Uprade From Vista Home Preuim To Vista Ultimate I Have Check My Certificate And It Appears To Have All The Manufactures Of OEM In That Folder ie:Acer,Asus,BenQ,Compaq,Dell,eMachines,Founder,Fujitsu1,Fujitsu2,Gateway,Gigabyte,Haier,Hasee,Hedy,Hp,IBM,Lenovo,LG,Medion,MSL,NEC,PackardBell,Samsung,Sharpe,Sony,TCL,Toshiba1,Toshiba2,Toshiba3,Toshiba4,Tshinghua Tongfang So Which Do I Use Or Should I Just Use Them All Anyway The Upgrade Went Smooth Without Problem Takes A Bit Of Time To Upgrade Rather Than A Clean Install But Was Worth The Time The Wait Was Due To The Processor In The Dell Intel Celeron Expect It Will Be Quicker On The Toshiba Duel Core Processor So For Those Wishing To Upgrade Ask Question Here It Can Be Do Just Needs Patience Time And Some Great Help From Member Of This Forum
You can use them all if you would like, or just find the string in the bios with everest and match to the correct cert. If the OS is already installed, any version, the cert should be in the c:\Windows\System32\OEM folder..take it from there and put it to the new cd.
