use the dell ultimate key on the first page during vista 64bit installation and you will see that the product id will be (89587-OEM-7332132-00141)

Certificate needed?? Hi all! Just wanted to check if you actually needed to leave a copy of the certificate in the OEM\ folder. Or can you just run the cmd's from usb? (Which is what I've done). Thanks, love this forum!
I had this working nicely for 2 years with an Asus SLIC but figured I'd update the bios, figuring that if I updated it from gigibyte I'd lose the SLIC table and activation I got a new version of the bios (Dell SLIC) from here and it worked including activation despite changing from Asus to Dell SLIC's. (obviously I changed the cert and key) But one little problem, when I tried to use DXVA (DXVA Checker or MPC HC or DvdViewer, anything that used the GPU for vid acceleration) atikmdag.sys went BSOD, so I instead tried the version from gigabyte of the same bios version and it too had the problem. So I reverted to the BIOS I had been successfully using for almost 2 years but now It won't activate, I found the same version of the cert still on my HD and used the same product key that I had used back then (verified with magic jellybean keyfinder, also verified it matched the product ID) but nothing. I even tried going back to dell cert and key but that also fails, I always get error 0xC004E003 Update: I guess I must have at some point got a slic and non slic version of the F3 bios confused, so probkem solved, it only took about a day to work that out... (I guess i must have accidentally clicked the gigabyte link rather than the slic file hosted link as both were in the same message)
Vista 64 bit I have taken the time to read all the postings in this thread but still not sure on how to proceed. I have ASUS Mobo with moded BIOS (ASUS SLIC) and am currently running activated Vista Ultimate 32-bit. Now I want to install Vista 64-bit version, what do I need to do? Just install Vista 64-bit with ASUS OEM key and that's all? Thanks for your help.
One more question: The Vista OEM keys listed in this thread work for both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions?
