Hello everyone--- I greatly appreciate everyone's help as I am quite the novice to these forums and computers in general. My computer at work is a new Dell XPS 420 with Vista Ultimate with Service Pack 1. Evrything appears to work pretty well with the exception of one interesting item. I have a watermark in the lower right hand corner of my monitor that says "Windows Vista (TM) Build 6001." Unlike the other watermarks mentioned previously, mine says nothing about it being an "evaluation copy," or it not being "genuine." I have run the Microsoft Genuine Diagnostic Tool and everything ichecks out as genuine. I believe this watermark started appearing right after I was connected to my work's network. I guess i can live with it being there although it looks sort of stupid. I can also try the user32.dll.mui patch but I sort of hate to alter the System32 file. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
