Windows Vista Ultimate Extras Update cab

    Hi, I'm not sure is it possible to download the Ultimate Extras update cab as of now and I do want to have those cab so that I may able to use dism/imagex to migrate into Vista Ultimate image.

    Thanks for the help, and I honestly didn't think of later version of Windows able to add this cab file directly.

    Might try to dism it to my current Windows

    I'm running windows 10 pro and cant get them to install.i'm mainly wanting the dreamscene content.

    ok i've got them installed/extracted but does anyone have the first preview of vista's dreamscene that had the racoon video or have the video extracted? here is a pic of what i'm talking about.

    Sorry but DISM is not working in Vista :)

    You need to PkgMgr instead of DISM.

    Code:
    pkgmgr /ip /m:<path><file name>.cab

    I used pkgmgr, but update didn't work.
    Just made only cat and mum files. What should I do when I install Ultimate Extras manually?

    You can itegrate updates into Windows Vista using DISM if you are on Windows 7 host

    EDIT: Windows 8.0 DISM is last one that can be used for servicing Windows Vista / Server 2008 SP2 from all systems from XP and newer

    For the Dreamscene content packs, nothing happens at all beside the cat and mum file generation.
