Windows Vista Ultimate OEM DVD

    Hello there!

    I recently bought a new HP laptop and it came with an OEM version of the Vista Ultimate DVD. Now I also recently upgraded my home desktop which is running Windows XP Professional.

    Just wanted to know if I can use the OEM DVD to install Vista on my desktop too? Or is this OEM version hardware specific and can be installed only on a particular machine with the particular hardware?

    That OEM DVD installer may be hardware specific and will not run on your non-hp desktop.

    Developers Activator

    There's a Developers Activator in a .torrent file that will do this 4/U & it will work on Illegal Copies of Vista!
